The winning article, "SVD-Enabled Data Augmentation for Machine Learning-Based Surrogate Modeling of Nonlinear Structure," was authored by Siddharth S. Parida, an assistant professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Co-authors on the paper include Apostolakis, Megan Butcher and Prashant Shekhar from ERAU and Supratik Bose from the University of Buffalo.
